Understand a few things:
Understand that heaven goes beyond the words of any poet, songwriter or preacher.
No artist has ever captured the wonder of heaven on canvas. Heaven is a place of
beauty and splendor where sickness, sorrow and sin are absent.
Understand this: ALL have sinned and come short o the glory of God.
(Romans 3:23)
We stand before God guilty, Sin is sin regardless of what we call it. Don't compare
yourself to another person. Compare yourself to God's standard...
The Ten Commandments (Exodus 20:3-7)
Have you ever failed to put God first in your life?
Have you ever assumed God would overlook your actions or words "because He is
too loving to send anyone to hell"?
Have you ever taken the name of the Lord in vain?
Have you always set aside one day a week to worship God in spirit and truth?
Have you always honored your father and mother?
Have you ever murdered someone? Have you ever hated someone and wished they
were dead?
Have you ever had sex with someone you were not married to? Have you ever
wanted to have sex with someone other than your spouse?
Have you ever stolen ANYTHING? Regardless of the value?
Have you ever lied? A lie is a lie (little or big, it is still a lie)
Have you ever wanted something that belonged to someone else?
IF you are like most people, you answered YES to several of these!!! ALL sin carries
the penalty of death and shame (Romans 6:23). The wages of sin is death BUT the gift
of God is eternal life.
ALL people must be "born from above" = spiritual re-birth (St. John 3:3)
You can't inherit the kingdom of heaven unless you are born from above.
ALL can be saved (Romans 10:9-11, 13)
If you confess with your mouth the lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has
raised Him from the dead, you will be saved... For whoever calls on the name of the
Lord shall be saved.
It doesn't require a lot of time... just a made up mind to surrender to Jesus Christ:
1. Ask Him to forgive
2. Ask Him to come into your life and be your LORD (boss, controller, master)
3. Tell someone about it.
4. Read your Bible daily
5. Pray daily (just talk to Him)
6. Pray & go to the Bible-believing church that He leads you to attend
7. Contact us to let us know of your decision so that we can send you
some resources to help you live victorious.
