Senior Pastor - V. David & Sherrie Lucas
Pastor V. David Lucas, Jr. is an ordained bishop with the Church of
God (Cleveland, TN). He and Sherrie (his wife) assumed their first
pastoral assignment in Lake Wales, Florida when he was just 23 years
old. They came to lead this congregation in Citrus Springs in October
1999. Their ministry is characterized by strong faith in God's Word,
Prayer and Fasting. He teaches and preaches the Word with conviction
and passion. The anointing of the Holy Spirit and the Mark 16 signs of
a believer accompany their pastoral ministry.
Family Care Pastors - Eddie & Millie Padgett
Pastor Eddie and Millie Padgett started attending MPM in June 2005. Eddie
graduated Bearean University in 1999 and received ministerial credentials in
2000. Millie also attended Bearean for two years and received her two-year
ministerial diploma. They have served in family ministries as well as in youth
ministries for 14 years. God has blessed the Padgett’s with three wonderful
children. Ana (20), Daniel (9) and Emily (6). They believe that God has great
things planned and consider it a privilege and honor to serve and to share in the
good news found in Jesus Christ.
Children's Pastor -
Nick Holt
Being in ministry is something that is not new to me. My family has
been in pastoral ministry all of my life. I was raised to love God and
taught at an early age of His love and eternal, mercy. I have found
that He truly is my friend.
My greatest passion in life is to see young children trained in the way
they should go. Statistics say that of 160 million Christians, 70%
accepted Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior in their childhood.
More than 80% of children accept Jesus before they reach 13.
After age 19, only 6% accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
These statistics are what motivates me everyday.
My heavenly Father never ceases to amaze me. My passion in life is
that through Jesus Christ I can point young children toward the right
path before their teen years.
Hispanic Ministry - Miguel & Rosa Aviles
Our calling as Christians is to reach other people for Christ. Jesus
Christ gave the church the job of reaching the world. Even reaching
people that immigrate to the United States not knowing the language.
At Mission Possible Ministries, we want to reach out to the Hispanic
community so they can experience the love and power of Jesus Christ.

The Family
Five years ago, God fulfilled His promise to them and gave them
fraternal twins. Caleb David and Caitlyn Sherrie are learning to pray
and praise. We shall see and hear more from them in the days to
come. They are in training to live a faith-filled life committed to Jesus
Christ.

Family Care Ministry is a ministry that cares about people. Our purpose is wrapped up into one
word care. Concerned About Reaching Everyone. Our prayer and hope is that through the efforts
of the Family Care Ministry, people will feel the love, compassion and care needed to help each
one of us reach and find fulfillment in the Lord Jesus Christ. Through the body of believers uniting
together, the Family Care Ministry is used by God to support, strengthen and encourage those
that call Mission Possible Ministries their church.
Our youth group goes by the name of Floodgates. It's a ministry that weekly ministers to 30 to 50
teens. We meet every Wednesday Night between 6:00 - 8:00 pm in our Family Life Center. Our
gymnasium has been a very strong attraction piece for the community. Many teens come in and
play an assortment of games ranging from basketball, foosball and pool. We have a concession
stand for before and after service refreshments and the music and messages of God's love are
truly awesome. We encourage all to come join us for lots of fun and life changing encounters with
God.
Join us Wednesdays at 7:00 pm for Floodgates or contact me anytime.
